Tom Fox-Davies.

As an experienced writer, I offer script development, writing and editing for film and television, helping shape ideas, structure and character into stories for the screen. My past writing credits include the award-winning feature film “Before the Border” and many episodes of the Emmy-nominated and winning PBS documentary series “Chronicles”.

With over a decade of experience, I produce and direct documentary, narrative and branded work, with experience leading a series and taking individual films from concept to completion. My producing work on Chronicles received an Emmy Award for “Bellwether: The Political Evolution of Erie – Our Power”, alongside further nominations as a producer and cinematographer. Many of the nominated episodes were written, produced, directed and edited by me.

I bring picture and sound together through editing, sound design and composition. As a filmmaker, I edit many of my projects, including multiple Emmy-nominated episodes of the PBS docuseries “Chronicles”. My postproduction experience spans short and long form work across narrative, documentary, educational and corporate projects.

Alongside sound design and mixing for many of my projects, I composed the score for “Before the Border” and composed and performed original songs for the feature films “Homecoming” and “Best Friends Forever”.

I began on stage in leading roles with the National Youth Music Theatre, performing at the National Theatre, Glyndebourne and the Royal Albert Hall. As a SAG-AFTRA member, my experience spans stage, screen, music and voiceover, including an Emmy nomination in Performer/Narrator/Host for my narration of the Chronicles episode “Daniel Dobbins”.
